Discover the scientist within at Sipping Science with Let’s Talk Science

Media are invited to attend Sipping Science with Let’s Talk Science, an informal opportunity for the general public to discuss current scientific issues with leading researchers as part of Science Rendezvous.

WHEN: Saturday, May 8 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHERE: The Antique Café, 138 Robinson Street, Markham

WHAT: Scientists Cindy Bongard, PhD candidate, University of Toronto, and Clive Holloway, retired chemistry professor, York University, will be on hand at The Antique Café to engage customers in lively discussion about scientific issues that are currently in the news, or about their own research. Their areas of expertise are conservation and environmental sustainability and chemical analysis and detection, respectively.
