As many of us are getting back into school mode, we have a lot to celebrate! Over the next few months across Canada, the sciences are being celebrated with multiple national weeks of significance.
We kick off next week with Science Literacy Week (September 21-27) and continue into October and November with the following celebrations:

Let’s Talk Science is excited to support youth and educators as Canadians learn and take part in a variety of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) endeavours.

We will have stomp rockets, mobius strips, science trivia and more available for the public. If you've ever wanted to build and launch your own rocket or test your science knowledge, this is the place to be!
Edmonton Comic Expo
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's science activities!! Come down to the Edmonton Expo and learn about some superhero science. We will have lots of hands on activities for the kids and some of our coordinators will also be presenting panels on SciFi medicine for adults!

Science World, High School Days
We will be special guests are Science World with activities including DNA extraction, simulated blood analysis, and other forensics and epidemiology activities to help solve the mystery of a zombie outbreak!
Science World, SWEET event
This free evening for teens is offered in partnership with Science World. In this staged mystery, a mysterious new virus is spreading throughout Vancouver. We don't know how this infection got started, but we do know that we need your help to find the source of the virus and figure out how to stop it in order to keep people safe!
