what we do

Investigating at the Christian Rutledge MuseumSince 1993, Let’s Talk Science has been developing and delivering innovative science-based learning programs that turn children and youth on to science, engineering and technology.

As an independent, not-for-profit organization, with an exceptional team of scientists, early childhood educators and teachers, we are uniquely positioned to develop effective educational programs that resonate with children and youth across the learning continuum — from children as young as two years of age to high school teens. These programs encompass our science outreach activities, early learning resources — called Wings of Discovery® — and online resources, including an interactive teen website, CurioCity.ca.

In addition to our youth-oriented programming, we provide university and college students, educators and professionals in the fields of science, engineering and technology with outreach training opportunities that allow them to participate in science outreach with youth. This training is delivered by a skilled facilitator through our Science with Impact® workshops.

Let’s Talk Science also provides a range of custom services — from program development and evaluation, feasibility studies, design and delivery of training workshops, to research and advocacy, resource development and consulting services.
