Let's Talk Science, a pioneer in science outreach in Canada, has led the way in developing appropriate training for graduate and undergraduate students and professionals in the fields of science, engineering and technology, who wish to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with children.  

Science with Impact^®
Our innovative workshop-based outreach training — Science with Impact^® — prepares volunteers with the strategies and skills to deliver fun, effective, hands-on science, engineering and technology activities to children and youth.

The Workshop (available in English and French) focuses on:

• Educational learning theory
• Teaching strategies and learning styles
• Designing hands-on learning activities
• How to make outreach experiences relevant and fun

Each participant receives a workbook with exercises and background information on the learning theories and teaching strategies covered in the workshop. With an appendix full of tips on creating effective presentations and choosing age-appropriate content, the workbook is a valuable reference for science, engineering, and technology outreach.
