Let's Talk Science has made science learning accessible to a wide range of people, including educators, families and teens, through its online presence.
CurioCity
In 2009, Let's Talk Science adopted a popular science e-zine for teens 13 to 17, called CRAM Science. Let’s Talk Science has re-launched the website at ExploreCurioCity.org. CurioCity is an interactive, web-based meeting place where teens can explore the science, engineering and technology in their everyday lives.Teachers can also use this site as a resource for relevant subject matter and to provide their students with enrichment opportunities.
CurioCity confronts, in a positive way, the assumption of many teens that science just “isn’t for me” and encourages teens to ask questions about issues and topics that are of importance to them — like current events, the environment, entertainment, sports and health. Visitors can join the community to interact with CurioCity experts - post-secondary students and professionals with a background in science, engineering and technology.
Wings of Discovery
Also in 2009, Let's Talk Science launched wingsofdiscovery.ca, a website devoted to Wings of Discovery®, our unique approach to early learning that includes a range of services from educator resources for preschool/early childhood educators and kindergarten teachers to hands-on activities for families.
