My name is Kraig Worrall, I am a PhD student at UNB and a research affiliate at Agriculture and Agri-Foods Canada (AAFC). More importantly, I am the classroom outreach coordinator for Let's Talk Science in Fredericton. I have always believed in the importance of science literacy. My name is Taryn O’Neill, a Masters candidate at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John. I am the current coordinator of Let’s Talk Science on the Saint John campus. Although I am new to science outreach, I am passionate about campus and community outreach. I am excited to provide hands-on/ minds-on activities to students to help them discover the relevance of science to their lives. As coordinator of the Let’s Talk Science program, my duties include recruitment and training of volunteers,recruitment of educators, matching volunteer with the appropriate educator, organizing outreach trips to rural New Brunswick and promotion of Let’s talk Science within Saint John and surrounding area.
